Round

The Round System — Turn-Based Combat in the Arena

Each match in the Colosseum unfolds in a series of Rounds, where 10 to 20 champions battle for survival. While the game is automated in structure, combat is turn-based and interactive — meaning players must manually click to attack during each round.

🤺 Click to Attack Each Round

At the beginning of every round, your Warrior must manually attack a randomly selected opponent.

  • Players must click the attack button during their turn to engage.

  • Failing to attack result in missed damage opportunities, giving your enemies an edge.

  • Damage is calculated based on your Warrior’s base stats, equipped weapon, and any relevant modifiers.

The objective: inflict maximum damage, stay alive, and eliminate rivals before they do the same to you.

⏱️ Round Duration & Match Flow

  • Each round lasts 5 minutes, giving players a fixed window to act.

  • A typical Colosseum match contains 5 to 8 rounds, depending on eliminations and battle pace.

This structure balances active gameplay with flexibility, letting you participate throughout the day without needing to be glued to the screen.

📈 Experience Gain

Your champion gains Experience Points (XP) at the end of each round based on damage dealt:

  • The more kill you do, the more XP you win

  • XP can be used for leveling up and improving stats

Experience = Total Damage Dealt during the game

💰 Earning Sestertius

Combat isn’t just for glory — it's profitable too. Players earn Sestertius based on their fighter’s impact each round:

  • 20% of damage inflicted is converted into Sestertius

  • 50 $SES are rewarded as bonus if you eliminate another champion (a kill)

This system rewards aggression and efficiency — the more damage you deal, the more value you earn. Finishing off opponents brings even greater rewards.
