Inventory

Acquiring Stuff

  • Gear is acquired from the Armory, direcly in the Colosseum, a dedicated in-game shop displaying available items, stats, effects, and costs.

  • Once equipped, items enhance your Warrior's base stats, allowing for deeper specialization and strategic variance.

All items are purchased with Sestertius, Rome’s in-game currency earned through gameplay. Each transaction also requires a small fee in $S, which contributes to protocol sustainability.

⚔️ Weapons — Strength

Weapons increase your Strength stat and can provide special effects, such as:

  • Bonus damage

  • Critical strike chance (soon)

  • Armor penetration (soon)

  • Conditional battle modifiers (soon)

Weapons are tradeable in-game, allowing players to exchange or sell weapons to others within the ecosystem. This opens the door for player-driven economy mechanics, item valuation, and gear-based strategy.

🛡️ Shield — Defense

Shields boosts your Defense, giving your Warrior higher survivability in extended fights. Certain armor types may include:

  • Passive damage reduction

  • Resistance to special effects (soon)

  • Temporary shielding mechanics (soon)

Shields are tradeable in-game

⚠️ IMPORTANT: You must equip your Weapon and Shield before inscribing your Warrior into a match. Once the game starts, your loadout is locked until the battle ends.
