Warrior Statistics โ€” Power Through Progression

Each Warrior NFT in Rome is defined by its core battle stats, which determine its effectiveness in the Colosseum. These stats evolve over time as your champion gains experience and levels up through combat.

๐Ÿ”ฐ Base Stats

Every champion starts with a base set of statistics:

  • 22 Strength โ€“ Determines the damage dealt per strike

  • 14 Defense โ€“ Reduces incoming damage

  • 100 HP (Health Points) โ€“ Total life before elimination

These attributes are crucial in determining your chances of survival and impact in each round of battle.

๐Ÿ“Š Stat Breakdown

Strength

  • Each point of strength = 1 point of raw damage

  • Damage dealt per round = attacker.strength*(100 / (100 + defender.defense))

  • Example: 30 Strength vs 10 Defense โ†’ 30*(100/(100+10)) = 27.27 damage dealt

Defense:

  • Each point of Defense reduces the effectiveness of each point of Strength.

  • Damage Received = attacker.strength ร— (100 / (100 + defender.defense))

Health Points (HP)

  • Your total health in battle

  • Once HP reaches 0, your Warrior is eliminated from the match

  • Surviving longer = more attacks, more damage, more XP and Sestertius earned

๐Ÿ†™ Leveling System

As your champion participates in battles and accumulates experience points (XP), it gains levels. Each new level enhances your championโ€™s capabilities and allows for strategic stat allocation.

Upon leveling up:

  • You receive +2 stats points to allocate between Strength (+4), Defense (+4), or HP (+10)

This dual progression system of passive growth + manual allocation gives players full control over the development of their champion, allowing you to tailor your fighter to your preferred playstyle.
